B2B Gold

Two documents cover the studio and this website. Each product publishes its own policy on top of them, because each one touches different data — so both documents end with a per-product section.

The two documents

  • Privacy policy — what this website collects, which is nothing, and what each app and extension does with store, visitor and browser data.
  • Terms of use — who publishes this site, what installing a product commits you to, and how Shopify billing and cancellation work.

Per product

Both documents end with one entry per published product. These links go straight to the entry for a single product.

Data processing agreements

There is no studio-wide data processing agreement, and there is a reason rather than an oversight. A DPA is a contract, and the parts of one that matter — the categories of personal data, the retention periods, the named sub-processors — are genuinely different for each app here. cPixel’s processing runs on one named sub-processor; X Shield’s policy names seven. One document covering both would be wrong about at least one of them, and a DPA that is wrong about who holds the data is worse than none.

What is consistent is the role. For the Shopify apps you are the controller of your store’s and your customers’ data and B2B Gold is the processor, acting on the instructions your settings represent. cPixel has its own Data Processing Addendum covering that relationship in full.

If you need a data processing agreement for a specific app, ask — write to support@b2bgold.app naming the app and your store domain.
