UpBar is a Shopify app that adds a free-shipping goal bar, rotating announcements, countdown timers, delivery-date estimates, trust badges, a sticky add-to-cart bar and a promo popup to your theme. All eight placements are on the Free plan. It displays the goals, rates and dates you enter, while Shopify's checkout decides what shoppers pay, and its blocks need an Online Store 2.0 theme.

What does UpBar do?
UpBar shows the countdowns and free-shipping progress the shopper sees; your Shopify checkout still charges the real rates.
Free shipping bar
Show progress toward a free-shipping goal you set per country, in a sticky bar and above the checkout button. Multiple goals on Pro.
Announcement bar
Rotate messages with icons, links and tap-to-copy discount codes in a sticky announcement bar. Scrolling marquee on Pro.
Countdown timers
A countdown block for any page: to a date you set, a daily reset or a per-visitor timer. On Pro, 18 seasonal campaign templates and the same clock on collection product cards.
Delivery estimates
Show today's order cut-off and a delivery date range on product pages, from your dispatch days and the transit times you set per country.
Trust badges & sticky add-to-cart
Add trust badges with payment icons, and a sticky add-to-cart bar that shows review stars when your review app publishes a rating. No view caps on any plan.
When should you use UpBar?
When you want shoppers to see, before checkout, offers and promises you have already set up in Shopify, such as how far they are from free shipping, when an order ships and roughly when it arrives, when a sale ends, a discount code, or the payment methods you take. Your theme's own announcement bar may be enough for one message. UpBar adds the rest on the storefront, per country, without code.
What doesn't UpBar do?
It displays; Shopify decides. UpBar creates no discount, free-shipping rate or gift, converts no currency and shows nothing in checkout, so a goal or rate you type must match what checkout charges. Countdowns count to the dates you set, and delivery estimates use your cut-off time, dispatch days and transit times, not carrier data or public holidays. It records no views, clicks or sales.

Frequently asked questions
Is UpBar free?
Yes. The Free plan includes all eight placements with no view limits, country targeting and a free-shipping goal per country. Pro adds background images and gradients, the marquee, countdowns inside the bar, cart bar and popup, multiple goals, page, device and product targeting, scheduling and your own copy in each language. The pricing table on this page lists both plans.
Does UpBar give shoppers free shipping or discounts?
No. It shows progress toward the goal you set and the codes you type. The free-shipping rate or discount itself has to exist in Shopify. If your Shopify rate changes, update Settings → Countries in UpBar too, or the bar keeps showing the old number.
Does UpBar work with my theme?
The four blocks, UpBar Product Highlights, UpBar Estimated Delivery, UpBar Trust Badges and UpBar Countdown Timer, need an Online Store 2.0 theme. The bar, cart goal bar, sticky add-to-cart and popup load from the UpBar app embed, which you turn on in the theme editor. Headless storefronts aren't supported.
I turned UpBar on and nothing shows. What's wrong?
Check the app embed first. The UpBar embed must be on in your live theme or nothing renders, and Home says App embed is off until it is. Blocks also need Add to theme and a save in the theme editor. The bar, cart goal bar, sticky add-to-cart and popup don't appear inside the theme editor, so check them on your storefront.
Can UpBar show different amounts for different countries?
Yes, from the rows you add in Settings → Countries. Each country gets its own free-shipping goal, flat rate and delivery time, and everyone else sees Rest of world. UpBar never converts currency, so a store selling in several currencies needs a row per market, with the goal typed in that market's currency.
Can the popup collect email addresses?
No. The promo popup shows a heading, a button and a discount code that shoppers tap to copy, and it has no sign-up form. Shopify Forms, Shopify's own free app, is the option for collecting sign-ups.

Start on the Free plan and move up only when you need to.
