Avis Free Plan and Limits
Is Avis free?
Yes. Since October 2026, Avis Product Reviews has one plan, Free, and every feature is on it, with no limit on reviews, photos or videos. Two limits remain: 2,000 review request emails a month and 200 AI tasks a day. Nothing is added to your Shopify bill.

What is included in every Avis plan?
Avis has one plan, Free, and it includes every feature below. Reviews, photos, videos, imports and exports have no limit; review request emails and AI each have one.

If paid plans are added later, stores that installed while Avis was free keep the same features and limits at no charge.
What limits does the free plan have?
Avis’s free plan has two limits: 2,000 review request emails a month, and 200 AI tasks a day shared by every AI feature. Neither limit ever drops a request or breaks your store: requests over the limit wait for the next month, and AI pauses until the next day.
- Review request emails. The first email of each automatic request and each Ask past customers request counts. Reminders, follow-ups, Request a review, the review link and QR code, the customer-account button and Shopify Flow actions don’t. The month is the calendar month in UTC, and requests over the limit go out from the 1st of the next month: how many requests you can send.
- AI tasks. Up to 200 a day, counted in UTC, for summaries, highlights, topics, alt text, FAQ drafts, stories, reply drafts and translations together: AI features in Avis. Matching the columns of an unrecognised import file counts toward the same 200.
What happens when I cancel or downgrade?
There is nothing to cancel or downgrade: Avis has one plan, Free, so there is no subscription to approve or cancel, and Avis doesn’t take a card or send a bill of its own. If paid plans are added later, stores that installed while Avis was free keep the same features and limits at no charge, and a paid plan bills nothing until you approve it on Shopify’s own screen.
To stop using Avis, export your reviews before you uninstall: export your reviews and uninstall Avis.
